Flying tends to be the fastest way to reach the Alps. There are four airports that serve the Les 3 Vallées, all of which are served by multiple airlines:
- Geneva (GVA): two hours’ drive
- Lyon Saint Exupery (LYS): two hours’ drive
- Grenoble (GNB): two hours’ drive
- Chambery (CMF): one and a half hour’s drive

At the weekend Ben's Bus offers shared transfers from Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon airports to St Martin de Belleville. Returns from Geneva are £96pp.

Driving to St Martin de Belleville takes approximately 8–10 hours from Calais (590 miles / 950km).
From Calais follow signs to Reims, Dijon, Lyon, Albertville and then Moûtiers.
During the winter, there is a direct Eurostar Ski Train from London St Pancras to Moûtiers. It departs once a week on a Friday night, arriving in Moûtiers early on Saturday morning — a journey time of around eight hours.
The return train departs on a Saturday evening, and arrives in London on Sunday morning.
From Moûtiers train station there is a bus to St Martin de Belleville — a journey of around 30 minutes. Alternatively, there is a taxi rank outside the station.
